Abstract
The geomorphology of the dunes study in the province of Dhi Qar, requires knowledge of their locations and the nature of its prevailing forms to take advantage of them and reduce the risks and the possibility of installing and study their characteristics and concentration as well as sources. have all contributed to the natural and human factors in the formation of sand dunes and expanded in size by the motor power factor of the wind which lead Alldoralrias by transport factors and sedimentation in the formation of sand dunes in the study area as well as the existence of large areas occupied by Alohanat ancient hills and archeological sites that prevent the law from approaching the cultivation of neighboring land sizes are estimated (500 metres), according to the resolutions of the General Directorate of antiquities and form study area a Garallowaqah province in the southern part of Iraq between latitudes (33 30 , 5 32) in the north and the brackets of length (27 45 , 12 47) to the east, bordered on the north and Wasit province, on the east by the province of Maysan, while bounded on the west provinces of Muthanna, Qadisiyah, in while representing the Basra province and part of the Al Muthanna province borders Aljobeh, with a conservative area (12900) km 2, and divided the study area on two first region Tturkzvi the north-western and western part of the ever Garotqa province within the unit sidewalk Giralmstqr which represents the alluvial plain second area is located in the south and southwest Western plateau in the southwestern desert of the province of Dhi Qar is located within the sidewalk Almstaqraltaba Western plateau, depending on the study in the field survey for all the proliferation of sand dunes in the counties and districts of the province areas .
