Abstract
There are many reasons that led to the study of the current problem, one of which is that the methods and techniques used in the educational field in teaching curricula and teaching methods focus on memorization and rote memorization, and this led to a decline in the level of achievement of students at the university level in the subject of curricula and teaching methods. Therefore, the research problem emerged represented by the following question: Does the (PQ4R) strategy contribute to raising the level of achievement and retention among students of the College of Education in the subject of curricula and teaching methods compared to the traditional method?
