Abstract
This research deals with the internal developments in Iran during the tenure of Jafar Sharif Emami as Prime Minister of Iran for the period (29) August 6, 1960-May 1961. Despite the short period in which he assumed the Prime Ministership, the Emami government made some achievements on the Iranian domestic level, including holding parliamentary elections for the twentieth session, as well as addressing the economic crisis in the country by taking several measures. However, the demonstrations that erupted in Iran forced Jafar Sharif Emami to submit his resignation, forced to do so, on May 6, 1961.
