السيد هادي المختار ودوره في حركة الجهاد سنة 1915م
Abstract
On November 6, 1914, Britain began implementing its plans to seize Iraq. This invasion was painful for the Iraqi people, and at that time, their position became clear in general, and the religious scholars in the holy cities in particular. A telegram arrived from the people of Basra to the religious scholars in various Iraqi cities, which read: “The border of Basra, the infidels are surrounding it, everyone is under arms. We fear for the rest of the Islamic countries. Help us by ordering the tribes to defend it.”
