Abstract
This research deals with the study of syntactic parallelism in the Epistles and Commandments of Nahjul Balagha as a form of textual consistency at the grammatical level, through which the manner in which sentences are organized is repeated with differences in their lexical elements, since structures have a greater impact on the recipient than individual words. It has contributed to achieving two things: first, creating a musical rhythm, and second, focusing some textual units and meanings in the recipient's mind. The research aimed to divide syntactic parallelism into different types and patterns, including contrasting syntactic structures, syntactic structures based on comparison, descriptive syntactic parallelism, and syntactic structures associated with the conditional style. In addition to the above, there is a parallelism based on breaking the pattern by shifting from one syntactic pattern (verbal sentence) to another syntactic pattern (nominal sentence).
