Abstract
The research aims to shed light on the nature of the current problem that young people suffer from as an important segment of society, which is the change and replacement of their societal values with other new values in an attempt to reach a solution to this problem or limit it by identifying its causes and developing solutions and recommendations for it. The research relied on the descriptive approach and the social survey approach in its theoretical and field aspects. Students of Al-Muthanna University, College of Arts, in its two departments of Sociology and Archaeology, were chosen as a representative sample of the research community. The type of research sample was comprehensive enumeration consisting of (262) researchers, which is the total number of students of the College of Arts at Al-Muthanna University.
