Abstract
The study aims to shed light on the biography of Hani Fahs and his role in the experience of Islamic-Christian dialogue, as a civilizational and humane demand whose goal is to expand the encounter between people of religions and consolidate civil peace and coexistence, by opening new horizons of cooperation between them, based on unifying determinants and a comprehensive humane outlook based on respect for human dignity and rights. This is because a pluralistic society is called upon and required to transcend its diversity by reaching common ground that accommodates its diversity without eliminating it through an open dialogue based on the values of recognizing the other and understanding his convictions and ideas, to work to bring viewpoints closer and narrow the gap of disagreement, to put an end to sectarian divisions and to keep the conflict within its civilized, peaceful, intellectual character, far from the language of fanaticism and eliminating the other.
