الحرية في الشعر الجاهلي
Abstract
Pre-Islamic poetry formed a rhetorical fabric that represented the highest level of Arabic eloquence, and it contained within it what represented that life, as it is an honest image of that society, and freedom is one of these concepts that this research touched upon through the poetic corpus. To make it more clear, the research explained the concept of freedom and its applications, as it reviewed its concept through the poet's behavior, his reception of this freedom, and his poetic creativity. In the poet's behavior, we noticed his freedom in practicing his belief, while the vagabonds lived in a freedom of their own making, far from tribal obligations. The place formed a concept of freedom for the pre-Islamic poet and his method of dealing with it, while the dramatic scene between the critic and the criticized displayed a picture of freedom of opinion. The capture and the poet’s falling into it clearly indicate the meaning of the freedom he lost, and while the absence of the latter came from the tribe and family, the poet’s will to try to recover this stolen freedom is clear. The pre-Islamic poet was not satisfied with this, but rather began to practice his freedom within his poetic creativity, so the middle ground came out to form this concept, and a variety in the introductions, and showed that the difference in dialects is a matter related to poetic freedom and its practice within poetic creativity, to make it clear from this that the pre-Islamic poet had possessed his freedom, and began to apply it from his perspective within society and within poetic creativity according to his vision of it.
