آليات الحجاج اللغوي في خطب السيدة زينب (عليها السلام)
Abstract
The study of argumentative texts is neither modern nor contemporary. Rather, it traces its roots back to Greece, particularly Aristotle's works on rhetoric, followed by the Arabs' inheritance of the principles of rhetoric and the characteristics of the orator. Argumentative discourse is the foundation of texts directed and encompassing intentionality, discussion, criticism, and debate. Therefore, I chose to delve into this topic through heritage corpora represented by the sermons of Lady Zainab bint Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon them). Because of their specificities, they are a fertile ground for this approach. I attempted to read this corpus based on the linguistic mechanisms of argumentation. The theory of argumentation in language is based on the idea that language inherently and fundamentally carries an argumentative function. Argumentation is inherent in the structure of language, as it is built on the structure of linguistic statements, their sequence, and their function within the discourse. It is a set of arguments and conclusions, in which arguments are presented to lead to a specific result.
