الشكوى من الحجاب في الشعر العربي حتى أواخر العصر العباسي
Abstract
The research monitors the impact of modern administrative systems on Arabic poetry, through an example of it, which is (the system of hijab), which appeared in the Umayyad era and expanded in the Abbasid era until it became a major obstacle for poets in their access to the caliphs and men of power. The hijab played a major role in deepening the sense of suffering among them as a result of the poor treatment they inflicted, which sometimes reached the point of amusement and trivialization of those entering, which made the subject take on a broader character. The poets' methods of describing this were diverse, beginning with praise and ending with harsh satire, passing through advice, gentle reproach, blame and rebuke. Most of this was expressed in a simple, clear language free of complexity, and in short pieces, dominated by concise narration, adorned with the repetition of some words derived from the root (hijab), along with intense sarcasm, and the prevalence of words of boredom and weariness.
