Abstract
The current research dealt with (The aesthetics of space in the drawings of Yahya bin Mahmoud Al-Wasiti). The first chapter included the research problem, which is manifested through monitoring the special methods of the nature of the artistic treatment of these elements and the relationship between them in their pictorial surface, which is linked in one way or another to philosophical, ideological and spiritual spaces that reveal the aesthetics of space according to the data of Islamic philosophical aesthetic thought through the phenomenon of Islamic pictorial art with Yahya bin Mahmoud Al-Wasiti specifically, in addition to the importance of the research and the need for it, and its limits, by studying the illustrated models of the drawings of Yahya bin Mahmoud Al-Wasiti from the manuscript of Maqamat Al-Hariri drawn in Iraq (634 AH - 1237 AD), in addition to defining the research terms. The second chapter contained three topics, the first of which dealt with (the conceptual dimensions of space
