نشأة وتطور أغاني الأطفال في العراق
Abstract
Researchers in Iraq have not paid any attention to children’s poetry or their songs. Rather, they have treated it unfairly and shown no mercy, and have increased their neglect and denial of it. Their argument is that it is little and scattered and does not rise to the level of academic theses. Most of those who have written about it since the seventies until today have dealt with children’s journalism or culture, as in the case of Dr. Hadi Numan Al-Hiti, or they have marginally mentioned verses from this one and others from that one, and passed over others indifferently. Or they have studied children’s literature in general and chosen one of its sections, such as the poetic story by Dr. Tahera Dakhel, who took examples of famous poetic stories from some poets and studied their contents. This is the only study that mentioned children’s poetry intentionally and with careful knowledge. As for those who wrote research and published it in various magazines, we have followed them with extensive care and we did not find a single study that studied poetry directed at children. Rather, they all study “childhood in poetry,” and this represents the poet’s point of view in childhood, and it is very different from children’s poetry, which is formulated from the tongue of the child in his different stages of life. Most of the senior researchers do not encourage anyone who tries to research it.
