ثلاثة نصوص اقتصادية من تل أبو عنتيك
Abstract
Abu Anteek is the name given to it by the inhabitants of the surrounding areas, which may be a corruption of the English word Antiquity, meaning old , or it may be derived from the colloquial word Antik, which is used by the people of the south to express archaeological finds. The ancient name for Abu Anteek is Pikasi -Pi (KA) -ka siki, which means the mouth of the cup . Abu Anteek is located in the border triangle that connects three governorates: Al-Qadisiyah, Babylon, and Najaf. Administratively, the site belongs to Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, and is about 50 km south of Babylon and about 15 km west of the ancient city of Mard. It is located in an area that is currently famous for the cultivation of agricultural crops, especially barley and palm trees. This site was not registered with the Department of Antiquities due to its submersion under water until 1994 .
