تمثيلات الماء في قصيدة السيابي كمعادل موضوعي
Abstract
This research studies and analyzes the representations of water that Al-Sayyab was able to bestow upon them from his emotions and infuse them with from himself, making them emit rays and ripples brimming with connotations that express his visions when he despaired, resented, and bored with the world, or when he hoped for healing, salvation, and rebirth. From here, water formed the poet's vast field that carried his vision of himself, the other, the homeland, and existence. He imitated it with all its natural components in the shores and rivers, with their small boats, cliffs, and breezes, their moonlit nights and visible oysters, their settled bottoms, their reflected lights, their soft flowing waves, and their traveling sailors. He imitated it in the large rivers with their sweeping tides and receding ebbs, with their large boats and sailors carrying pearls, oysters, and mother-of-pearl, with their special songs and their drapes embroidered with the skill of seafaring peoples, and their sad, absolutely echoing melodies.
