مجلة المرأة العصرية (دراسة لمواضيع الزواج التي تضمنتها عام ١٩٣٦)
Abstract
Modern Woman magazine, published in 1936, is one of the magazines concerned with Iraqi women's affairs. It attempted to address the harsh reality that Iraqi women were experiencing at that time. However, it was the voice of Iraqi women at the time, and did not represent a specific party or political trend, nor was it one of the magazines or newspapers that supported the monarchy in Iraq. Among the most prominent topics discussed in the magazine regarding marriage were the phenomenon of celibacy, its causes and effects, the issue of forced marriage and its negative effects on society, and the advice the magazine offered to both spouses.
