Abstract
The need for security is essential for the continuity and sustainability of life and the development of the Earth on which God Almighty has made human beings His vicegerents. The lack of security and the spread of terrorist crime in society leads to fear and anxiety, hinders stability and development, and calls for migration, displacement, and the cessation of livelihoods, which leads to the collapse of societies and the foundations of their existence. The concepts of terrorist crime and its effects have diversified in light of the transformations witnessed by the world with the emergence of new threats and changes that have left their impact on all institutions of society. Therefore, this research came to address the various concepts of crime, terrorist crime, security, and social security, while identifying the most important factors that led to the spread of terrorist crime and the reasons for the weakness of security and authority, and identifying the basic methods for controlling these crimes and ways to address them and reduce their impact on society.
