Abstract
Heat waves are extreme weather phenomena that occur due to climate change caused by a combination of natural and human factors. Al-Qadisiyah Governorate experiences extreme temperatures, with high temperatures being recorded during the hottest months of the year, exceeding normal levels. Temperatures are also recorded that exceed the maximum temperatures during the hottest months of the hottest season. These temperatures may continue for several days, impacting the cultivation, growth, and production of agricultural and horticultural crops in the governorate.
