أطباق فخارية من العصر البابلي القديم
Abstract
The study of clay tablets in Mesopotamia in general, and the Old Babylonian period (1594-2400 BC) in particular, is an important artistic subject in Mesopotamian civilization, as they reveal important aspects of the nature of society and provide insight into its religious, political, and social structure. They are therefore a fundamental document relied upon not only in the field of history, but also in the field of arts, due to the artistic themes and content they contain. The reason for choosing the Old Babylonian period for the study is that it was one of the most important eras in which the production of these artistic products was widespread, compared to other historical eras.
