الشيخ موسى كاشف الغيطة حياته ومرحلته الفكرية والسياسية في تاريخ العراق الحديث (1156هـ/1743م - 1240هـ/1828م)
Abstract
The religious authority in Najaf al-Ashraf represents the highest religious institution to which Shiite Muslims refer in their religious and political affairs in many cases, in addition to being an important intellectual center that preserved the Arabic culture, language, and thought from distortion during the Ottoman occupation. It was founded on constants that derive their giving from the Qur’an, the Noble Prophetic Sunnah, and the thought of the Imams, peace be upon them. It has worked throughout its historical journey to preserve and sustain national and Islamic unity, stop the bloodshed, and defend the egg of Islam through the moderate and non-extremist approach of Islam.
