السياسة البريطانية تجاه قبائل البختري في إيران 1912-1905
Abstract
The Bakhtiari tribes are one of the most important tribes in southern Iran, inhabiting a geographical area that includes northern and eastern Ahvaz and some of the provinces of Lorestan, Chahar Mahal Bakhtiari, and Isfahan. These tribes are distinguished by their political fabric and social organization. The geographical, political, and economic location of the Bakhtiari tribes attracted the attention of major powers, especially Britain, which had the greatest interests and influence in the region. This was after the establishment of the trade caravan route linking Ahvaz to Isfahan via Bakhtiari lands and the discovery of oil in Masjid Suleiman, one of the provinces of the Bakhtiari region. This importance gained by the Bakhtiari tribes prompted me to choose this title.
