Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the doctrinal and humanistic standards contained in the Quranic proverbs and stories included in the Arab-Islamic History book for the second intermediate grade in Iraq. The problem of this study was defined as follows: 1 - What are the doctrinal standards contained in the Quranic proverbs and stories included in the Arab-Islamic History book for the second intermediate grade in Iraq? 2 - What are the humanistic standards contained in the Quranic proverbs and stories included in the Arab-Islamic History book for the second intermediate grade in Iraq? To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers relied on a descriptive research of the type of content analysis as it is good and appropriate for analyzing the content of the Arab-Islamic History book for the second intermediate grade in Iraq. The idea was used as the unit of analysis, and repetition was the unit of enumeration. A special form was designed to extract the results of the analysis, and steps and rules were set to ensure that the analysis is objective. The researchers also prepared the research tool by reviewing the general educational objectives of teaching
