المعالجة الرقمية وتفسير الصور الفضائية لدراسة الغطاء الأرضي في محافظة البصرة (1973 - 2010)
Abstract
The features in satellite images differ from those in maps because they do not have symbols that indicate their identity. Images record all visible features, which are not necessarily easily identifiable. Images contain raw data that becomes usable only after digital processing of the images using satellite image processing (Remote Sensing), a modern and advanced technology used in processing satellite images. This technology, with its advanced software, has been used as an effective scientific tool to obtain useful information and highlight spatial features that were not visible in the raw images and that the human eye cannot perceive or distinguish.
