قراءة النص الصوفي في ضوء المقاربات النصية: شعر محيي الدين ابن عربي نموذجاً
Abstract
In this study, we attempt to offer a different interpretation of Sufi poetry, not as a purely mystical text, but as a love poem. This approach aligns with the surface meaning of the text; we emphasize the primary meaning in this interpretation, thus revealing aspects that may escape those who read Sufi poetry primarily through a mystical lens. While we acknowledge that the secondary, mystical meaning is indeed intended by the Sufi poet, given the spiritual nature of his experience, we also believe that the primary, literal meaning is equally important. This is because, despite his spiritual aspirations, the poet remains human and cannot entirely transcend his human nature. With this understanding in mind, we will examine the poetry of Ibn Arabi, particularly his collection "Tarjumān al-Ashwāq," and we will find that the poems within it resonate with this interpretation.
