التوزيع الجغرافي للصناعات الصغيرة في إقليم كردستان العراق لسنة 2011م
Abstract
Small-scale industries play a significant role in the industrial sector, both in developing and developed countries. In some developed countries, they constitute more than 90% of all industrial establishments. Due to their considerable importance, these industries receive significant attention and support. Their flexibility in terms of location, resulting from their small size and limited infrastructure requirements (such as roads, electricity, water, and waste disposal), allows them to thrive in small urban centers and rural areas, thus offering numerous benefits. These include a more equitable distribution of employment opportunities and income, as well as economic advantages derived from locating near sources of raw materials or consumer markets. Furthermore, they serve as training grounds for developing technical and managerial skills within developing communities.
