تحليل جغرافي لمشكلة السكن في محافظة ذي قار
Abstract
There is a genuine housing crisis in Iraq, particularly in urban centers, as evidenced by the obvious overcrowding in residential areas. The housing deficit in Iraq was estimated at approximately 2 million units in 2010. This research aims to study the geographical distribution of housing in the province, identify the key geographical factors influencing this distribution, and assess future housing needs. A statistical and analytical geographical approach was used to study the various trends and changes affecting the geographical distribution of housing, emphasizing the importance of quantitative statistical methods in measuring the level and spatial variation of housing distribution. The significance of statistical methods in contemporary geographical studies is well recognized.
