Abstract
The study of personality holds a special place in psychology, as it is a primary source of knowledge regarding the various manifestations of human behavior. The five-factor model is considered one of the most important factors influencing the development and prediction of an individual's personality. Personality psychologists have focused on this model, employing diverse theoretical perspectives, in their attempts to understand personality traits and address various problems related to mental health and interpersonal relationships. Wisdom is considered a life skill acquired through an individual's experiences in real life; it is not limited to a specific social group, but rather depends on training, practice, and exposure to critical life experiences. Therefore, the significance of this research lies in identifying the distinctive personality traits of university students to better understand their emotional characteristics and thought processes, thus helping them resolve their problems. The research question focuses on determining the degree of correlation between the Big Five personality traits and wisdom.
