Abstract
The semantic expression represents the control of the creative elements in the text and the symbolic capabilities that ended in the creation of meaning. The short-story symbolic introspection moves the recipient beyond the meaning, and after a distinctive artistic and aesthetic element, as the brevity and condensation that the short story carries is consistent with what the symbol carries from the laconicism In turn, it refers to an indication deduced through the events of the story, the character's behavior, or in the group of its narrative dynamics, so that the recipient's mind works to explore its pearls. I chose to write in two models of short stories for each of the two storytellers: Jalil Al-Qaisi and Salem Shaheen, because of what I found in the selected stories of the elements of strength, casting and inspiration, which makes them an accurate place for symbolic and indicative martyrdom.
