الموضوع في اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية - دراسة نحوية مقارنة
Abstract
This study aims to examine the concept of the subject in both Arabic and English, demonstrating that the subject in English differs from the subject in Arabic. It also aims to clarify the rules governing the subject in both languages, including its optional or obligatory nature, agreement with the verb, and its position within the sentence. Furthermore, the study will identify the similarities and differences between the two languages regarding the subject, concluding that the similarities outweigh the differences, and demonstrating the existence of nominal and verbal sentences in English.
