أثر استراتيجية التساؤل الذاتي في حل المسائل الكهرومغناطيسية وتنمية التفكير الإبداعي لدى طلبة السنة الرابعة في قسم الفيزياء
Abstract
The current research aims to know the impact of the self-questioning strategy in solving electromagnetic issues and developing creative thinking for fourth-year students in the Department of Physics. The research community consisted of fourth-year students in the Physics Department of the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University for the academic year (2012-2013). The research sample was intentionally chosen and its number was (58) male and female students, and the parity between the research groups was confirmed through the variables (age in months, previous information and creative thinking). The requirements of the experiment were prepared, which consisted of building a test to solve the problems, because there were no suitable tests for the purposes of the researcher. (9) Paragraphs were formulated to solve the problems and the validity and reliability of the test were confirmed. As for creative thinking, the Torrance verbal test was adopted to determine the creative thinking of the students, and after the students finished studying all the vocabulary in electromagnetic subject, the two research groups were tested with the tool that was prepared, and the Torrance creative thinking test. When analyzing the data, it was found that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the problem solving test for electromagnetic and the development of creative thinking. In light of these results, a set of recommendations and proposals were developed for the subject of the self-questioning strategy and to benefit from it in other educational institutions.
