Abstract
The term "New Novel" refers to a new trend in novel writing, characterized by novels written after the 1960s. This movement emerged through the work of numerous authors such as Nathalie Sarraute, Alain Robbe-Grillet, Claude Simon, Michel Butor, and Marguerite Duras. In the Arab world, it was further developed by writers such as Edward al-Kharrat, San'allah Ibrahim, Jamal al-Ghatati, Walid Ikhlassi, Mohammed Shukri, Youssef al-Aqid, Majid Tobia, Fouad al-Tukrli, Ghayeb Tamma Farman, and others.
