تدهور العلاقات السوفييتية الصينية خلال الثورة الثقافية الصينية
Abstract
The Chinese Cultural Revolution of 1966 is considered one of the most significant events in Chinese political history. It exacerbated tensions between China and its ally, the Soviet Union, and further strained their already fragile relationship. During the Cultural Revolution, Sino-Soviet relations deteriorated dramatically. China launched a comprehensive ideological attack on all aspects of Soviet policy, both domestic and foreign. Mao Zedong's decision to sever party-to-party relations with the Soviet leadership contributed to the complete breakdown of relations, leaving only a few low-level government contacts where once there had been a multifaceted alliance. The impact of the Cultural Revolution was not limited to the deterioration of relations with the Soviet Union; China also faced international isolation as a result of its attempts to impose its model of revolution on other communist countries.
