Abstract
This study addressed the quantitative analysis of paved roads connecting urban centers in Maysan Governorate. The aim was to quantitatively analyze the road network in Maysan Governorate, as well as to determine its efficiency, density, connectivity, and accessibility. Maysan Governorate is located geographically between latitudes 31.30° and 32.30° North and longitudes 46.30° and 47.30° East. It borders Wasit Governorate to the north, Iran to the east, Basra Governorate to the south, and Dhi Qar Governorate to the west. The area of Maysan Governorate is 16,072 km². It comprises 12 urban centers. The study focused on the quantitative analysis of several indicators, including network density, urban nodes, curvature index, centrality, connectivity index, and accessibility.
