Abstract
The study of water basins occupies a great deal of geomorphologies, modern interests. The river basin is an area unit that determines quantitative measurable characteristics and facts. This subject is comparative and analytical. Hence, the current paper focuses on Abokther basin which is located in the northeastern part of the southwestern desert of Iraq. It lies between (031 - 030 10) southwards and (045 40- 045) eastward. It is bound by As-Salman region northward and AlAsali Basin southward.
