Abstract

One of the things that the scientific researcher should pay attention to while roaming the corridors of scientific research and what it includes of books, research, articles and studies... is the means that would contribute to enriching academic research and other things, and the ways of its development, renewal and facilitation, according to a future vision, to be aware of the means and mechanisms surrounding it that enter into the development of the academic curriculum in terms of renewal and facilitation to give a cultural dimension that is compatible with the scientific development taking place in various fields of science and its foundations. There is no doubt that the science of rhetoric went through different stages until its features were defined and its rules were settled. In each of these stages, a number of distinguished scholars emerged who contributed to establishing and developing the science, in addition to their efforts in developing theories, concepts and terminology that pertain to it and define it. Perhaps the first of these stages was the one that was concerned with recording observations, and like it were a number of prominent writers and scholars, including Abu Ubaidah (d. 208 AH) and Al-Jahiz. (d. 255 AH), Ibn Qutaybah (d. 276 AH) and others. With the advent of the second stage, we find that interest in the science of rhetoric began to increase and take a new turn, especially when studies and research of a distinctive literary and scientific nature made their way towards research and exploration.
