Abstract
The current research targets to design counseling interaction by the method of self-centered counseling to modify the control center of university students. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher needed two tools. The first one was the scale Rutter 1966 for control center. Moreover, the researcher designed a new counseling interaction as a second tool for the research and applied the research on a sample of Al-Muthanna University students in the academic year 2011/2012.The research results reached at designing, planning and implementing a new counseling interaction model by the way of self-centered counseling to modify the control center of the university students. The research results showed the effectiveness of counseling interaction by the method of self-centered counseling to modify the control center of university students.
