دراسة للحياة الاجتماعية للمسلمين العرب حتى نهاية القرن الثاني الهجري من خلال كتاب حياة الحيوان الكبرى للدميري ت 808 هـ
Abstract
Some may not imagine that a book like (The Great Life of Animals) by Al-Damiry (d. 808 AH) contains very important historical material on extensive details about the various political, military, administrative, economic, social and scientific life of Arab society from the most ancient historical times until late periods after the fall of the Abbasid state in 656 AH. The title of the book suggests that it is a book that specializes in mentioning the types of animals, their characteristics, natures, way of life, customs and traditions, and everything related to them from near or far, as Al-Damiry depicts them to us until the end of his era, the beginning of the ninth century AH. However, whoever browses the book carefully and attentively will find stories, narratives, tales and poems about the lives of the people, both private and common, since ancient times, such as news related to the lives of the messengers and prophets, news, customs and traditions of the Arabs before Islam, and very important texts about the era of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him) and his blessed biography.
