Abstract
The geomorphic importance of the map has begun to increase day by day as a result of the increasing need for scientific and practical development at the various levels. Remote sensing techniques and geographical information systems have tremendously contributed to its development and making it more accurate and useful in providing data. Proceeding from the importance of geomorphic map, the researcher has taken from (map representation of earth's surface in Muthanna Province) a topic for her study.The ultimate goal of the study is represented in preparing a geomorphic atlas filling at least a small.
