سينما النص السردي (دراسة مقارنة لآليات الفيلم والرواية)
Abstract
The novel and the film are two different entities, but they have unified roots through which we have the right to combine, delete, or abbreviate in order to reach artistic approaches, in which the elements of similarity are exploited to circumvent the method and means of work. However, we must not forget that the novel, in its written form, contains cinematic elements, and its cinematography here is readable, not visible. It is cinematography controlled by the mind and imagination of the reader, depending on the imagination and vision of the author, while the cinematic scene depends on the vision and imagination of the director, thus canceling out the viewer’s thought and imagination in creating images. However, this certainly does not cancel out the viewer’s taste and ability to respond to the scenes shown, as the cinematic film has its own language, and the novel does as well, and the language of the novel is richer because of its openness to the reader’s contemplation.
