Abstract
Forecasting the size of the population in the future is a complement, but an important goal of demographic studies and an urgent need to formulate economic and social policies, prepare development plans and determine future requirements. Hence, the research objective arises in tracking and time investigation using the descriptive and analytical approach about what the population of Iraq and their characteristics in the future is based on modern technologies and software in this field, where geopopulation studies in Iraq lack such methods, so the study focused on technological developments in the field of population forecasting using the demographic spectrum program (Spectrum), which is one of the integrated programs and tools for analyzing economic conditions. The research was based on population projections and demographic results emanating from them for 2023 as a base year. Based on this, the study expected that the population size in Iraq in 2035 will reach about (59) million with an average growth rate
