The research is concerned with studying and estimating the volume of surface water flow and its risks represented by floods in the valley basins west of Karbala Governorate, which are five main basins, which are the basins of (Al-Salam, Al-Rakash, Fouad, Al-Tarfawi, and Al-Zulaimi), which are basins located west of Karbala Governorate in the desert area, as they are located next to the Anbar governorates.
