المنافسة على خلافة الخلافة في العصر الفاطمي نزار والمستعلي كمتنافسين
Abstract
The research discusses the division within the Fatimid state regarding the caliphate following the death of Caliph al-Mustansir Billah. This division arose from the competition between the caliph's sons, Nizar and al-Musta'li. Al-Musta'li ascended to the caliphate with the assistance of al-Afdal ibn Badr al-Jamali, claiming that Caliph al-Mustansir Billah designated him as his successor during his dying moments. During al-Musta'li's reign, there were notable changes marked by increased activities of the Nizari Ismailis and a rise in assassinations. Historical sources mentioned
