Abstract
The current research aims to reveal the temporal and spatial change in agricultural land uses in Dohuk District between the years 2011 and 2021 and to demonstrate this change through comparison between satellite visualizations for the two years mentioned above and to find the areas of agricultural land uses that were subject to change using geographic information systems and remote sensing techniques and then detect the change. Achievement in agricultural land uses according to the NDVI index, which determines the density of land cover uses, in addition to identifying and calculating the types of agricultural land uses according to the spectral data of the study area, and showing the extent of development and change occurring in land uses between the years 2011 and 2021 and the reasons for this change in agricultural land uses.
