Abstract
The captivity is one of the most prominent phenomena resulting from wars and disputes, which occurred between peoples in ancient times and before the emergence of Islam, and this concept is governed by social, political and economic factors, and it represents for the conflicting parties a supreme goal, and a maximum goal they seek to obtain in that different period of time, and this phenomenon continued after the advent of Islam, as a natural product of the conflict between the new religion
