Abstract
Cordoba was considered one of the most important scientific cities in Andalusia during the era of the Umayyad Caliphate (316-422 AH / 929-1031 AD), thanks to the interest of the ruling class in this aspect. It included various types of sciences, human and scientific knowledge, and the scientific links between this city and other cities of the Islamic world were formed in Yaqut’s works.
