Abstract

The Gallipoli campaign was considered the pivotal episode in the New Zealand military history because of its impact on them, and this is due to the fact that it was the first campaign of the New Zealand army outside its country, in which the New Zealanders proved their manhood and ability to fight on the battlefields in the era of great empires, as they confronted the Ottoman forces and fought between them Fierce battles, but they did not achieve victory and suffered heavy losses, although their victory was ally in the first attack
