Abstract
This study dealt with the description of the Qur’an in the thought of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by employing the Qur’anic text in order to demonstrate its greatness, comprehensiveness, and its comprehension of all aspects of human life, material and moral, and in a way that is compatible with all temporal and spatial transformations. There is no room for doubt or suspicion that there is a difference or a deficiency, and since the levels of understanding and reception differ among people, therefore it was necessary to rally around the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) who are the people of divine knowledge and the source of legislative resources in understanding the Qur’anic text, its purposes and objectives, so the correct understanding is The right way to guidance and to reach the pleasure of God Almighty, but in the case of referring to the understanding of the Book to other than those chosen by God Almighty, it is the eye of misguidance and deviance, and opens the door to distortion and interpretation in a way that serves self-interests, whims and illegitimate goals
