Abstract
The researcher in the study dealt with these procedures to impose disciplinary punishment for the public sector employee in Iraq, in the light of the Discipline Law of State and Public Sector Employees No. (14) of 1991 (amended) without other laws, and compared with the Egyptian and Jordanian legislation, where the procedures for imposing disciplinary punishment are of great, which disciplinary legislation required the need to be followed by the administration in order to issue its decision to impose punishment on the employee who violates the correct job duties, and the procedures for imposing disciplinary consequences contribute to granting the importance employee The accused is a set of essential guarantees represented in following the procedures of justice in holding the accused employee accountable and this justice is achieved by following procedures that precede the imposition of disciplinary punishment, which should not be done administrative investigation only after referring the employee accused of committing the violation to the investigative committee, and then the investigation to uncover the facts, where it is considered a procedure taken intended to reveal the facts and verify the validity of their attribution to take the decision to issue the disciplinary sanction, as the administrative investigation is one of the most important guarantees of the public employee
