Abstract
There are many purposes of man in his daily life, according to the situation and the context in which the speech is received, and the realization of these purposes and deciphering them, especially the hidden ones is very important, so this research dealt with the purposes of Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in his debates, and these purposes have multiplied, including doctrinal, jurisprudential, scientific, and political, including the direct clear purposes, and the indirect hidden purposes, which need the civility of recipient to understand and decipher them.
