Abstract

By looking at Diwan al-Samawi, we found that the present tense contained in Diwan al-Samawi was mentioned in a variety of forms and connotations, so it indicated the situation in abundance in Diwan Abd al-Hamid al-Samawi, as well as the presence of the present tense in its indication of the past tense. The poet's employment of the assertive letter (lam) contributed to the transformation of the present tense into the past, as well as the present tense denoting the future, so we find the temporal connotation of the present tense in the Heavenly Court multiple and varied, as it denotes the past, the present and the future, and the present tense also denotes absolute time, although it Few and limited to specific matters, such as matters related to established facts. The present tense was present in its indication of what the heavenly one wants to express, and what is in the mind.
