Abstract
The research deals with the redemption operations of the Spanish and Portuguese prisoners who were captured in Morocco during the campaigns launched by the Spanish and the Portuguese on the Moroccan coasts and the redemption operations carried out by the Spanish Church and other parties to rid the Christians of the families of Moroccans or Andalusians in Morocco, and the research also highlights the importance of the economic revenue from money redemption.
